"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

hi there ... thanks for your interest. A rough rule of thumb for time taken on a drawing is about one square inch an hour. Sometimes more ... sometimes less but as an average it usualy gives a good idea. But that is just the pen work. Working out what to do, prelimery drawings and cloud gazing all adds to the time ...
