What I love about this piece the most is the care and intricate work you have done,it's a delightful labour of love. May I ask how long it took you to do this? I love to pencil sketch, but I find it difficult to avoid the smearing.

I suppose it took about a day to draw but getting the idea straightin my head took much longer ... weeks maybe months.
I use pen and ink.
When using pencil there are several tricks to avoiding smears. Cut a hole in a piece of tracing paper .. about two inches round. Place this over your drawing and work on it bit by bit through the hole.It takes practice but it helps.
I looked thru your gallery. I can't imagine a harder way to make an image than ink on glass. What are the benifits? Do you do annimation? I am intrigued. I know the frouds. Big heroed of mine.
